2020 CNFR CANCELLED

It is with very heavy hearts that the NIRA and the CNFR Committee announce the cancellation of the 2020 College National Finals Rodeo, June 14th – 20th.  As everyone involved with this event can testify this is not the outcome we were hoping for, but public safety during the COVID-19 Pandemic is our most important concern.

We know that every student-athlete, coach, school administrator, parent, and fan grieves the loss of this special event. This is devastating for all of us, but mostly for the NIRA athletes.  We share your grief.  This is unprecedented.  May we all heal, extend grace and recover to a better world.

We are all in this together and are praying for our rodeo families.

NIRA Commissioner Roger Walters said, “We are devastated to be making this announcement.  We wanted to be competing in Casper this summer, but we have to do the right thing to combat this Pandemic and keep our contestants and the State of Wyoming safe.”

Fans that have purchased tickets will be refunded beginning next week. If tickets were purchased with a Credit Card, a credit will be processed to the credit card of purchase. Tickets do NOT need to be returned to the Box Office. Your credit should show up on your statement within 7 to 10 business days.  If tickets were purchased by cash, at the SInclairTix Box Office, please email us to request a refund. CDC ART A LA CARTE POSTPONED

There exists a place where children can go
To play, and dream, and learn, and grow.
And every year, they hold a large celebration
That helps them spread Hope through their foundation.
This year’s a bit different due to COVID-19,
But Hope’s not a quitter, and that will be seen!
So while the date’s a bit later than originally planned,
The party’s still coming, and together we’ll stand!
We’re here to provide Hope, and that’s just what we’ll do,
And we can’t wait to raise Hope, with all of you.

Keep the Hope! While AALC is postponed from our original scheduled date of May 2, 2020, we are working diligently to plan and prepare for a new date shortly after. Please keep us in mind, in your calendars, and in your newsfeeds so you don’t miss the announcement of the new official date. In the meantime, don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets for your chance to win a brand new 2018 E181R Camper Trailer from our friends at Sonny’s RV here: cdccasper.org/aalc
